rainy days in a forest

befriend the forest.

let the trees engulf,

let them shelter,

and listen to the pounding rain.

if the forest accepts you,

you will know.

for you will remain dry,

trees stretching their branches,

and offering their leaves,

as a form of protection.

they'll only let the rain hit you

if they deem you need

a blessing from the sky.
