raised by a man
No one ever felt my pain
I use to always want to go insane
open up the freezer to hear the echo
stomach growling but the bills kept coming
we did what we did but we was never problem kids
we just needed a home cooked meal
eviction notices every month they was hard to juggle
I never thought I see the day my dad struggle
two months late, what we going do
we have to go our separate ways
come on dad what about you
I couldn't believe the separation was so real
momma wasn't around how should us as children feel
unwanted got us thinking damn do she love us
left us confused it was all a blur
raised by a man who never turned us against her
