Rap is Sin

What is sin? Is it only when Our flesh will win? Temporary pleasure for an unfathomable end? And what is rap? Is it only a rhyme and move? A hip hop and groove? Speaking only on the sins Sex, Money, and Drugs too? Can I not make a dime On a rhyme speaking of our time? As Tupac did in "keep ya head up" On many lines? It's like today I can't rap about making a way Or perhaps to say I've lived to see another day. But only to confirm my pleasures On living with temporary forevers And current measures That exceed my futuristic thoughts of heavenly treasures.. Yaa, that's it. I can make a dime If I make a rhyme Discussing the demeanor of a girl While demeaning their twirl And their hair with a simple curl That isn't quite perfect To fit The defect Of men's percept tion Of how they should be.. And we didn't even mention The extension Of other sinful subjects That bring attention.. This world today Makes it seem As if to gleam In that industry-- Rap must be about sin And a sin is to rap.
