Rapunzel

A traveler sees a tower,

And from it, hears a voice.

The voice is light, yet heavy,

He doesn't have a choice.

He has to meet this singer,

Atop a tower of stone.

The singer must be lovely,

But dismal and alone.

He calls up to the singer.

"Are you being trapped up there?"

"Yes," the somber voice replies,

"So please climb up my hair!"

Golden locks of hair fall down.

The traveler then grabs on

Making sure to not let go,

Or else he would be gone.

The traveler sees the singer brightly

Smile as he appeared.

The traveler climbs into the window

As the singer collects his beard.

"Marry me" the traveler says,

Watching the bearded bass.

"Yes" he answers, with tears of joy

Streaming down his face.

The singer and the traveler

Wed within the hour

And lived their lives in happiness

Atop the old stone tower
