Rapunzel as a Brunette

You always hear of princesses and their dreams,

but have you ever wondered what might have been?

Have you ever thought what might happen without a heroic prince?

Would the princess live a normal life per chance?

Our story begins with a maiden you know,

though it's not the one with skin white as snow.

This tale is about a girl who didn't let her hair grow.

Raunzel was young when she discovered her love of crafts.

So on one fateful day she cut all of her hair shafts.

Her golden hair fell, piece by piece to the ground,

and one by one, every hair strand turned brown.

Mother Gothel was dead,

with the cutting of those golden threads.

The young princess wailed for days on end,

Until her cries were heard by a friend.

Whilst on a princess search.

A dog gave a lurch.

He led the palace guards right to the tower,

Where they found their precious lost flower.

Rapunzel was found and the kngdom was at peace,

all of the people rejoyced, and they had a great feast.

Rapunzel grew up in a loving home,

and she helped Anna of Arendale feel not so alone.

Raunzel's parents never gave up:

So her life turned out not to suck.

So this true fact shall forever ring,

family is always a person's best thing.
