Rapunzel with a Flare

Once upon a time

There was a story more sour than a lime

The girls with the long golden locks

A bird was taken away from her loving flock

Rapunzel was kidnapped at a young age

Trapped and filled with rage

She was fed with food from a sliding door

She wanted to see out the door and explore

On her 18th birthday

She knew she had to go away

She threw down her hair

And just thought everyone should beware

She wasn’t taking any more mess

She did not want any more stress

Rapunzel was not through yet

She had revenge she had yet to get

She went back to her prison cell

Back to the place that was a living hell

She climbed up the castle

Getting ready wrestle

She tapped on the witch’s shoulder

Thinking about killing her with a boulder

Rapunzel asked her why

The witches nonresponse made Rapunzel sigh

Rapunzel choked her with her hair

All the witch could do was stare

Rapunzel wanted her to feel her pain

But realized she is just working for her again

A bright and beautiful day

Turn into a dark one with dismay

The golden girl who has pure

Turned very unsure

The Witch had seconds to live

But Rapunzel could not forgive

She threw the witch out of the castle

Rapunzel was finally released from her shackles

Rapunzel has fought back

But will she ever get her life back
