Rapunzel's Better Off

Rapunzel, Rapunzel

What you waiting for?

Girl you're lucky there are no doors

For men to walk through

Or walk out of

When they're done with you

Rapunzel, Rapunzel

Don't let down your hair

Why ruin the peace you have up there?

I'd do anything to forget

The people I let

Use me to feel better

Rapunzel, Repunzel

please remember

Loneliness won't last forever

Like the memories

I have

Of what he did to me

Rapunzel, Rapunzel

I only wish

To think that men just want a kiss

When I have seen

Those who need

So much more

I'd kill to be up in a tower

For a day, for an hour

To feel safe, untouchable

With hair so long and beautiful

I'd do anything to forget

You're so safe up there, and yet

You long to come down

The grass ain't greener on the ground.
