Rapunzel's Free

I was taken away from my family to soon be held in a tower and become her power.

Here I am, with my long, golden, silky hair as I wait for her to come back running through the floral meadows.

As day comes to night, to every each individual shiny star I see, I feel safe cause I know my family is watching them with me.

As tomorrow comes, I will hope and wait for a special present to come... a surprise.

I still wait from day till night, waiting for you my precious little brother.

You will chase the birds to the cloudy woods, then the butterflies from the trees to the meadow full of flowers, to where I stand in this tower.

You will find me, my brother.

As I brush my thick, gold, silky hair. I will sing a song, a song that will bring me back to the dancing waves, the moving blue water.

The place that makes me feel free.

The song that me and you wrote as kids as we tried running away to Netherland and break free.

Here I am again, with my long, golden, shiny hair out the window, looking at the stars as it starts blinking at me.

My eyes suddenly feeling wet. My blue eyes that reminded my mother of the ocean suddenly is filled with water that will wash away the shore as fast as storm could speed.

These tears are like anchors that sink my heart to the deepest ocean of the sea.

I feel tension at the end of my hair. I look down to see nothing but a small, faint shadow.

I called out waiting for a response, hearing nothing but a jump.

As I pull my hair up like how I pull the brown, rusty rope that hang from my window.

I could feel a rhythm, it was in my heart. The dancing waves and the moving water...

I will keep paddling till I reach land as this music helps guide me.

I know, my love you are near please wait for me as I pull my magical long hair.

Here you are my little brother, eye to eye, and it is now our time to break free again.

Before we go, let's now erase all of this with a haircut from me.

Bye my beautiful, glowing, golden hair. I will now run away with my little brother as we glow in the dark to the land of the free.
