Rapunzel's Tower

A fair maiden that has been locked away

Trapped behind my mass of towering walls

To never again see the light of day

That have been constructed to never fall

To the maiden my walls are all that be

I house and protect her from all outside

Hundreds have come, try and take her from me

No matter how weathered here she'll reside  

Till that fateful day my defenses fell

The witch that had guarded me was vanquished

A man had beckoned my maiden, farewell

Leaving me hollowed, empty relinquished

Alone trapped here unable to move, lonely
