Rare Air

In this moment of scuttle

space between us shuffled

an awkward new place

solo survival dance

our six foot hover

skirt right or left

an  Electric Slide

so aptly dressed

past lovers are we

checkout line nods

all polite niceties

this rare air of space

a lack of certainty, our fate
