Rather Go Blind
Rather Go Blind
Don’t walk away from me
and leave my world, my heart, my arms
every part of me so lonely and cold.
Don’t walk away from me
and leave me with no one to hold
because I’d rather go blind
than have you leave me alone.
Baby don’t walk away from me
I don’t care what my mom, dad, friends
or any other person may say.
Please don’t walk away from me
I’Il die the worst death if I can’t see you every day
because I’d rather go blind
than have you leave me astray.
I’m begging don’t walk away from me
you’re all I ever wanted, needed, and loved
in this frameless and crude world.
Just don’t walk away from me
it’ll hurt me if I can’t be your favorite girl
and I’d rather go blind
than have you throw me away and not cherish me as your pearl.
