Raven

I am in love

With something I cannot find

Something I set none above

To the entire world I’ve gone blind

A fit better than any glove

My heart was put in a bind

I thought you truly a dove

But I revealed a raven

Dark as night

Life turned an emotional cave-in

Horror caused from pure spite

Deceived into thinking it was haven

Eventually I regained sight

But it was too late I was already engraven

Because I was in love

with something I could not find
