Raven

Raven wailed tears of ash

Circling above scorched path

Wings of molasses , hearts gone glass

Seething on dissonant past

It’s breath is smoke ,

and so it chokes.

It sobs a song

on its splintered feet

It’s a-lullaby I don’t dare sing,

the ebony scar across

robin egg sky.

Time seems to glide

Through glossed feathers

In crestfallen eyes

Scorched earth it wails ,

it sobbed ,it screamed

There are answers,

One should never seek.

Oh my raven ,

how I’ll cry

When you lose all hope .

And just fucking die
