Raw Sonnet - Heartfire

The earth is often still and firm and strong

A man's composure scholars can relate;

However, every several years, along

The lengths of unseen lines, the soil will break

And shower fire like the gates of Hell

Devouring countless lives as it unfurls

Like under this, our great creations fell

So under love, conventions of our world

I only deign address it audibly

To keep from showing you what I could be
