Ray of Light

The sun,

Slowly creeping its way through the cotton covered clouds.

Peeking around objects blocking its path.

Struggling to reach its destination.

Creating mysterious shadows with an unknown owner.

The sun,

Heating up the dew covered grass.

Waking up baby birds sending them into a chant.

Slowly rising across the golden lit sky.

Waking up,

Feeling the glowing sun softly kiss your body.

Warming the chill of the night,

Bringing you to a new day.
