I was just a youngsta Grew up around addicts and hustlas Low income household you know how the average Hispanic life goes I ain't racist im just being honest I've going thru poverty and pain for the longest But only some make it out and you ain't even gotta be the strongest The mind controls and makes us Nobody can change us this is how society made us We ain't privileged nor are we granted the same rights so I'd be damn if I don't try to make my life right nobody knows what's my mind like I have my thoughts in big dreams I have high hopes for all my family I want to become a successful graduate but lets face reality A lot of things change I dont even know if I can still say the word humanity I'm not white I'm not rich but I have the ambition The ambition of a better vision on changing the world and I remain persistent I believe one day ill be the one too change the world Change the perspectives of all boys and all the girls United we stand tall nothing can hold us back not racism nor a wall The struggle is the most beautiful part of it all You learn to have patience and faith To keep striving everyday ima do it for my people just as MLK
