Re-Construction

I know things cant fix overnight

But Im just trying to figure out when the times right

I hate when we fight

I had a feeling our future would have been bright

But you lost sight...

As of now, Im not broken, just sprained

I repeated to you my fears because I felt they were never properly explained

Why cant I forgive and forget?

Right now, where do we stand?

Or are we kneeling?

Apologies are the first step to healing

Looking back only hinders you from moving ahead

Yes, some things were better left unsaid

Its like we took one step forward then two steps back

Heartbreak is a pain incurable by an ice pack

I couldnt give up without trying my best

I did all I could do

You can handle the rest.
