Re Discovered

Have I truly found it
again?
The power of words -
have they returned to
my hands?

Will my pencil
steadily flow with
words upon the page?

Surely this cannot
be
I feared my
talent had been
lost

After setting
down my instrument
for so
long
I worried
the words would
never return
But here I sit,
pencil in hand
while the emotion flows
through me
onto the paper

My words
have returned
to me at last...
