Re-Ignite

The brightest flames burn the fastest,

But that does not lessen the sting,

Soften the blow,

Or ease any pain.

The hardened wax pooled at the base are messy scars,

Reminders, that even the brightest of souls burn out.

But sometime, the flames cleanse the soul.

Both destructive of mind and troubles,

The very flame that burnt the candle may relight it once again,

To burn for time to come.
