Reaching Beyond

When words won't flow in a verbal way,

     writing in verse helps me know what to say.

I'm not gifted or elequent in speech,

     this pen, what it does, is help me to reach.

It reaches into my soul,

     making my words anything but dull.

Reaching beyond defining words that limit what I say,

     poetry is endless, undefined and my preferred way.
