Reaching for More

 I’m reaching out to you

Can you hear me?

Can you feel the things I feel?

There’s no one else around but you

Can you see me?

It feels like no one knows who I am

Including me

When I’m around you

It’s the only place

Where I don’t feel like I’m lost

No one seems to understand me

They think I’m crazy when my silence speaks

No one understands except for you

Things feel empty and lonely

When you’re not around

But I’d rather be anywhere but here than live my life

Without you next to me

I’m reaching out to you

Are you reaching out to me?

I need you to see the real me
