Read Me
Read me.
Read me because I have so much to say and nobody to listen.
Read me because I'm between the lines, stuck on paper,
within the box and dying to get out of it.
Read me because you can't hear me.
My pen strokes whisper the secrets to happiness,
but you're too busy trying to figure it out on your own to pay attention.
So read me.
I have the breath of life on the line, the gift of grace in my sentences,
rhymes of clarity and words from the wise
so read me... and then revise.
