Read me ...

A psalm of Solomon.

1 Unless the Lord builds a house,
the work of the builders is wasted.
Unless the Lord protects a city,
guarding it with sentries will do no good.

Read me

Read my heart brother … it’s far from an open book

Start in the middle and stay out of dark corners

Why should you bother … while I am on the hook?

Don’t search with a candle I’m just a mourner

Look for happy pages … when I was beside myself

Do not search for the deeper where uselessness is burning

All throughout the ages, folks came in past twelve

As they served the reaper … the truth always spurning

From the first page to the last I tried to change myself

Building with feeble hands on a foundation of sinking sand

A product of the past in an urn lost on a shelf

A life quickly spent … ignoring God’s hand
