Reading Between the Ink
The words twirling from pressed pages
Vivid imagery in my head
From Dumbledore fighting in rage
To the still image of Rue dead:
Imagination overdrive
Infinity stretches ahead
Dead words now vibrant and alive
Mind teeming with what I just read
I'm reading the intricate plot
The characters' lives intertwine;
The trail of foreshadowing hot;
The feverish pen starts to whine.
The chapter is done now, I think
Characters dormant; trapped in ink
