Reading The Clock

The hands flall,

Tick, tick, tick

The clock melts, dripping into the unknown,

The hole opens, swollowing all its surroundings,

Then closes in the blink of an eye,

Vanishing, much like time itself,

One had no concept of time,

For they can't read the clock,

The one that tellls them that a day has turned into a week,

The one that taunts them, aging them in their sleep,

The clock that doesn't let them live or breathe
