Ready For The Dilemma
Our whole lives have changed since you left us.
It's so hard to open our eyes and realize what was taken from us.
You were put to rest and we were put to the test,
To see our strengths and weaknesses.
Sorrow filled with our hearts,
Tears rolled down our face,
And we try to remember the years with you of grace.
Your life was our happiness,
But your death was our pain.
We learn to live without you,
Though things will never be the same.
We learn to cope with the sorrow and the pain.
Our heads are held up high,
As we speak your name with pride.
