Ready to learn

The sound of my alarm awakens me from my slumber,

I stare at the ceiling and wonder, What will my day consist of.

I get up and get ready for school,

Eager to learn, I throw on my clothes.

I slip my shoes over my toes, and walk out the door.

Greeted by two dogs, i feed them their food,

I’m ready for school, and in my learning mood.

The excitement grows as the minutes pass,

School is about to start and i better get going fast.
