ready for the world

i am ready for the world where nobody cares if you live or you die a place where people walk over a person that is laid out in the floor whether he is drunk or dead i am ready for the world where people cheat to get ahead the S.A.T's, state license exams, teacher certification, the politics the lies and scandals to be politically correct there's a difference between hustling and cheating its all in how one plays the game i know the difference, but you will never know i am ready for the world where minorities don't have their priorities they rather get up on a saturday morning 8 o'clock bright and early to buy a pair of jordans but ask them to get up that same saturday morning 8 o'clock bright and go down to city hall and fight for a cause there is a moment of pause and they say i'm tired, it's too early for me bee they looked decked out , but yet they are on welfare where we are right now, we need to stand up and fight this warfare i am ready for the world where corruption becomes a normative way of living constant changes about the rules the policies, and protocols but ask yourself why? because there is a cover up to hide the truth that will always unveil my will to win will always prevail not even the pigs ( i mean cops) won't lock me up and imprison me in jail i am ready for the world where your own kind treat you like nothing recycle you like yesterday garbage and wear a mask to portray someone that they are not i will see right through you and put you on blast whatever happen in my past its put to rest i am always the absolute best i will not collapse like the 2004 yankees or choke like the knicks always do in the playoffs my aspirations of being the greatest is on the flight been taking off i know what lies ahead of me everyday there is a war zone whether it's in the ghetto or in the suburbs don't let neighborhoods fool you people are low lives regardless of one's lifestyle i am ready for the world where there are decent people that want to see me prosper to foster my enhancements in growing to be the man i become to love me for me to understand for who i am and not i once was at one time
