Real

Here I am again

Broken in my sin

I can't feel

Life's not real

I just don't want to live

There's no way out

Not one safe route

I should feel

Like I'm real

But I don't know what real is

I'm often told

My story's old

I know what I feel

Or is it even real?

Again, I don't know what real is!

Drowning in thick air

I pray for an easier fare

Now I can feel

I know that's it's real

I know what real is

Life is hard

Breathing can scar

But if we feel

We will be real

And we will want to live
