The real deal

Hello,

Hard work,

My dear friend.

I'd never thought I'd say again.

How hard it was to get to know you,

without my spirit feeling blue.

But the vision I kept in mind,

never left me blind

to you, my close friend.

Sometimes I see,

who I don't wanna be

The pressure rises and I question where you came from.

But a voice deep inside says stardom.

You see, I get it;

Jesus, filled with God's spirit,

never took the easy way

and never lived a day

when he didn't rely on you.

Because of this,

He made the way.

So, Hardwork,

Keep up the flame.

I know it'll get tough, B

but Jesus did it-that's enough.

I'm scared, but ready,

to listen to all you have to say

in every season of my day.
