The Real Deal

Grow up everybody will

And to make it right in life is everyone’s feel

From a tender age I knew this was the deal

The whole thing became clear when I had to face it real

Taking up a job at 12 years was as hard as a steel

It was still worth it for even though I would move as slow as an eel

I sure would end up being able to all on my own cater for a bill

I knew I was fast growing into adulthood and my time in childhood was fast reducing to nil

More responsible I have since become and even developed the all-important skill

That of facing life with bravery because that is the real deal!
