Real Friends

Nobody likes me.

All of my friends are fake.

People in high school are horrid.

I can’t wait to leave.

In Boston, I can grow!

Everyone is so friendly in college;

My roommate is my best friend, and my floormates are my family.

How will I choose between them as my maids of honor?

Wait.

Why won’t they help me?

My boyfriend is dead.

They don’t care.

God bless them.

My few friends from high school,

I love them for pulling me out from my covers.

Maybe I only need a few close friends…
