Real Love

Nowadays we are in love with things of insignificance.

We have lost the capability to see the most beautiful things in life.
We are so consumed by that boy having new shoes and Tru's, but where is his truth, where are his morals, where is his couth?

We are so concerned with being pretty cool and pretty cold but I want a pretty soul.
I swear we all wanna go half on it but who wants to be whole?
And there's a hole where our smarts should be
a pile of coal where our hearts should be

You see love is patient and love is kind
But love is nothing without the mind.

The ability to acknowledge adoration and recognize infatuation
The difference between genuine affection and an emotional infection.
Chivalry is dead, and love was killed by deception and definition.

Who will create their own?
Who will be unique and not need to be known?

The greatest people in the world are perfect strangers
Not aired on TV, featured in a video, or
sitting in the Oval Office
They are the ones who can give without the intention of receiving
The ones who can love the unlovable
The ones who never followed what love was by definition but simply by intuition.
