Real love

He got angry

And he wouldn’t stop

I kept crying

“Because I love you”

he said after

From that point on

I never understood what love was

Then another came into my life

I cried

For the right reasons

I was happy

And we fought

But the love was everlasting

It was unconditional

Different

We talked every night

He would sing to me

We would talk about the future

Tell each other secrets, sins

And we accepted each other

For who we were

Everyday

Was a day I felt happy

Thankful to be alive

To be able to love
