Real Love

I must say that I am disappointed;

An anger builds up in my soul because

The son came to make the world anointed

Covering us all in his love and blood.

And falsifiers try to build a show;

They act like being a real one is all

About what you do and don’t fully know.

If kinship’s unknown then who do we call?

Religiosity is not for me;

Creed and faith are of two different realms.

Look at all that they expect me to be,

The list of requirements overwhelms.

We are jewels that may need to be rebuffed,

But really, we are already enough.
