The real man

I'm a real man, with respect, honor, and chivalry But I guess the only person that can see that is me Life is prison And my body is my cell I'm hiding behind this face I'm fooling them all They don't know what I would do I'd risk it all Lord please let me get that call 'Cause I'm trying so hard not to fall. No one can say I haven't tried, It's the reason I continue to hide, Yet my limps keep me mortified, A shell of a man is what I am, But no one quite understands, Just how hallow I am, I'm starting to wonder has the fight only just began? But why should I have to fight for something that's rightfully mine? What I would give to have the power to rewind What I would give to turn back time I'd take this chance to do it all over again. 'Cause I feel like I'm hiding behind this symbol of injustice, My bowtie of a life needs a new adjustment, 'Cause I'm disgusted, At the pep in my step as I walk down this path of destruction, Change of discussion, Get ready for this eruption, Get ready for the solstice, I'm about to show you why the world will never trust us.
