The Real Me

The Real Me:

My whole childhood left me as an outcast.

With fake friends who pretended to be real.

My life unfiltered has been filled

with pain and loneliness.

Until an angel appeared

and kissed my cheek with happiness

Making me feel the beauty,

and the truth inside my soul.

I had never felt before

My #selfie unfiltered

Is cracked like an eggshell

But healing with the love

from my family and now:

My Real Friends

The ones who don't pretend to be fake.
