The Real Me

Mirror, mirror on the wall. Who's the fairest of them all?

Well, if I edit this picture just right...I will be.

A crop here, contrast of color there... then I will be instagram ready

So many precautions being taken...to hide the real you.

Layers upon layers of cover up.

Smiling on the outside, while dying on the inside

Longing for someone to see the real you...

Well let me tell you,

Without the layers I am a canvas

Beautifuly and fearfuly made

I have imperfections, but that's what makes me beautiful.

Look and see...the real me.

Mirror, mirror on the wall. Who's the fairest of them all?

I may not be, but I am beautiful.
