The Real Me?

Who am I?

Most people don't know the answer to that question when asked.

The real mean me is a sad lost girl

Whose father left her and her mother

Whose stepfather also left her

She is a girl who doesn't know how to love

She's to scared  to love

Too scared to care

She is a girl who randomly cries when she is alone

She is the girl who hides her depression and anger from everyone

I am the girl who has to force herself each day to get out of the bed

I am the girl who sometimes wishes she was dead

I am the girl who finds it hard to find joy

I just want to be left alone

No one understands my pain and suffering

I am alone

Thinking no one loves me and I am worthless

But I must push through this pain so I can keep my secret

I am screaming so loud, screaming out for help

But it is as though I am whispering because no one has come to help me

One day the girl finds the guy of her dreams

It was like she was living in a fairytale

That was until...

He broke her heart

She loved him with all her heart

She gave him everything and he just took it for granted

He didn't seem to care

He made her forget about all her sadness and family issues

He never judged her for baggage

He just loved her for whos he was

And that is all that mattered

So,

She took him back

Even with all his flaws because she had some too

Together they were an inseparable mess

But for once in her life she was happy and worry free again
