The real me

Everyone thinks they know the real me

the crazy girl everyone sees

the quiet girl no one hears

But no one really sees what lurks

inside my soul everything hurts

the love of my life disappeared

It seems like no one can hear

the pain in my soul that is here

i read books to go away

from the pain I experience everyday

everything I see reminds me of him

every happy day, turns to gray

i miss my nephew everyday

it was hard for me when he went away

i was hurt when I couldn't help him

That guilt made me dim

Now that I have his sisters and brother in my life

nothing will harm them, they are my light.

I will fight for them with my last breath,

i will fight for them even after death

when he left my world was dark

when they came they showed me the sun

So now you know the real me

I'm crazy, and quite

lover of life, a devoted aunt

a form of the dark knight.
