The Real me

Naive, Vulnerable, Accepting

Was all once me

Before the real me built me

Confused, Torn, Oblivious

Was all once me

Before the real me built me

Built on principals, morals of others

Instead of feelings from within

One day, you become connected to something

More real, authentic than anything

It brings you to the center of the universe

Making you look at your life, as

If you’re the planets constantly judging the sun.

Finally blocking the light that's been blinding you since you were young.

When it came to make a decision

You grasped the individual grains of sand

Relying on them to answer

To find out that, it was the real me

Inexperienced,Open-minded, Loving

Is all me

After the real me built me

Weird, Reliable, Childish

Is all me

After the real me built me

I’m myself

Accepting of myself

It took a harsh judgement from an outer source

To realize that I’m me regardless
