The Real Me

Look into her eyes and tell her what you see A young girl who is all happy and jolly Who looks to be quiet but isn't silent As you look real deep You'll see the truth Nothing but pain and sorrow Silent cries for help from being hurt of all the lies Taking risk after risk with her heart To have it turned upside down and broken apart You may think you know you know this girl But you only see what's on the outside Not deep down on the inside To not know that she has been on a roller coaster ride It takes time to get to know a person Not to believe all you hear or see Because then you will know the Real Me
