The real Pocahontas.

Once upon a time.... There was a little girl who did not fit Disney's description of "princess" so their solution was to cut and sew at the seam of her reality. They made her into the beautifully stereotypical cut and dry Disney princess. She was never able to become who she knew she was. But deep down she always knew she was not who she was supposed to be. Yes she might have taking over being the chief of their tribe but she never wanted a man. You see cuz when Pocahontas first "came out". She never really did it "come out." She never wanted kocoum. And she couldn't tell her father that she actually wanted Nakoma. Her best friend. But disney didnt want you to know this. john smith was way ahead of his time. He was the perfect ally. He loved Pocahontas so he became her cover story right until the day he died. And I'm not saying Pocahontas didn't love John Smith but not the same way she loved Nakoma. She became the chife of her tribe with out a man by her side and it stayed this way. That is my interpretation of Pocahontas.
