the real sleeping beauty

A beautiful daughter sweet and fair

one with red lips and golden hair

was cursed to die on 15th year

due to a wise woman's spite her parents had great fear

the death was softened to that of a slumber

on her 15th year she pricked her finger and fainted as if she had gone under

exhaustion from years of ensomnia caused her to stay in a sleep

it just so happened she awoke at the same time that her prince gave her a kiss to keep

everything went back to normal but all believed it was the curse that caused her to go under

none were the wiser that it was an ensomnia slumber.
