The REAL Thing I Can't Live Without

What I can’t live without?
What kind of question is that?

Because at the drop of a hat

I will say “my brain” without a doubt

Why can’t I live without my brain?

It is my body’s helper

It keeps my actions together

Although I am prone to migraines

I won’t say my mom

Although her I do need

Because one day she will concede

And go where it is calm

I will still live without her

I’ll be able to breathe

I’ll be sad underneath

And wish she will stir

But I will be alive

I’ll learn to adapt

And as a matter of fact

Without my brain I cannot drive

With no brain, I wouldn’t be

There will be no scholarships to earn

How will I learn

The knowledge I wish to see?
