Real thoughts

My thoughts. Cast a fire in my mind
My dreams send me into an unrecoverable coma
Look for anger and you will find
It started before the high school diploma
Fits of rage they say is what they see
Negativity is what I give
Never given the option to show the real me
Full of anger is how I live
My fuse is shorter than life
My temper is worse than a fighter
You could cut the tension I feel with a knife
The light at the end of the tunnel is only a lighter
I don't fight fear because it's welcome
I don't run from trouble because it finds me
A true genuine smile is seldom
No one will ever know who I could really be
Can you hear my screams of agonizing pain
Can you feel the heat from of my fate
Can you see the guilt laced shame
Can you understand my hate
Would you help the demon that lives inside alone
Would you open a door to tomorrow
Would you even notice the unanswered phone
Would you open the closed casket of sorrow
Why do the veins continue to grow
Why is my flesh getting hot
But pain is something I don't show
And weak is something I'm not
