A Real World Education

What do we learn? Learn in school. Is it real life examples, or just basic education? We don’t learn how to pay taxes, or even why exactly we pay taxes. We’re never taught how to vote or how to fix a car. I feel like we’re taught education but not everything, that we will use in the real world. I don’t want to be sent out into my world after high school, and have to feel like I’m dependent on everyone else. We haven’t been taught how to apply for a job or even how to manage a bank account. These are all things that we will face in the real world, but things we have no guidance towards. I believe that our school would improve largely if we had some classes based on going into the real world, rather than all math, science, and English.
