The Real You
Not by the swordsman slain on a stage
Or poetic lexis that cover this page
can explain it
My endless search for words cannot reveal perfect perception,
the authentic vision
The Real You sifts in the whispering grass of Eden- Never to be found
Words may tear the shadow, they will hide the fine embers of a smile
I try and try to tell you of my authentic being with my lips
just to realize
The Real You cannot be bound to words
words are just an illusive truth that filters the soul
Then why do we use someone elses canvas
I extend beyond the words of page
lense of a photo
the name i was ordained
