"Realism"

I'm a polaroid picture,

but stuck in negative.

They call it "pessimism."

I call it "realism."

Isn't it better to just expect the worst?

That way when it actually does happen

I won't be as disappointed.

Since nothing has ever gone the way I thought it would,

I eventually lose hope for anything else.

In the end I won't get my heart broken by anyone or anything;

because it already is.
