Realistic Fairytales

Fairytales are for princesses,
Who thrive through beauty,
Who search for Prince Charming
Who need not worry about their brain,
Only their body.

Paragraph one.

Fairytales are for evil creatures,
Who threaten families,
Who poison innocents,
Who kill,
And yet the only moral, in the end,
Is that beauty.

Paragraph two.

Reality is for women and men,
Who work for what they want,
Who train their brains for an uphill battle,
Who save those families,
Those innocents.

Paragraph three.

Reality is for children,
Who learn from mistakes,
Who dream for the better,
Who climb the tallest trees,
Just to accomplish something today.

Paragraph four.

Reality is for the strong,
Who know what they want,
Who take it,
Who make the world,
A little bit more like the end of a long adventure book,
Not a fairytale.
